Not at all. This is a transition, not a closure. The studio will continue operating in the same location with a refreshed brand, renewed energy, and an updated program

We’re stepping into an exciting new chapter with a fresh vision, expanded offerings, and new opportunities for our community. While the name is changing, our passion for dance, connection, and growth remains at the heart of everything we do.
No, we’ll continue dancing in the same space you know and love.
Boca Latin Dance is a dance studio located in Boca Raton, FL. BLDS is under the leadership of Uriel Garcia, 9x Salsa, Bachata, Hustle and Cabaret World Champion, who has taught, performed, and competed internationally for many years. The studio is known for its strong emphasis on technique, social dancing, performance opportunities, and creating a welcoming environment for dancers of all levels.
No, this is not a merger. Davie Latin Dance will continue operating as its own independent studio with its own leadership, community, and identity. However, we’re excited to collaborate closely through aligned training systems, curriculum, and opportunities to learn from talented instructors across both communities, all with the goal of creating an even stronger experience for our students.
We’re excited to introduce new instructors to our team: Uriel & Leah Garcia, Brooklynn Mack, and Melanie Castillo. They bring valuable experience, energy, and vision to the studio. Together, we’re committed to building something amazing for our community.

We’re refining our schedule to focus on what serves our students best and creates the strongest learning experience. This allows us to grow in a more intentional way. More will be offered in the near future.
Yes, we’re exploring future classes, workshops, and experiences to keep things fresh, fun, and valuable for everyone.
As part of the new structure we’ll be simplifying and standardizing our membership pricing to $135/month. Students will be able to attend any class, up to their current approved level. We’ll also be offering private lesson packages and team add-ons for students looking for additional training opportunities.
Our goal is to create a clearer, more streamlined system that gives students strong value, flexibility, and access to a well-rounded dance experience.
Your current membership will continue as normal. As part of this transition, we’ll be simplifying our class structure by moving away from class packages. Any updates will be communicated clearly and in advance, and we’ll make sure all current students feel informed, supported, and taken care of throughout the transition.
All packages will expire on May 31st, make sure to use all of your classes left by then
To help keep everyone on the same page and progressing together, students wishing to participate in our progression-based classes should register for a membership on or before the first week of the month. After the first week, Levels 1 through Intermediate will be closed to new drop-in participants until the next cycle begins.
All updates will officially begin on June 1st. We’ll continue sharing details leading up to that date so you feel fully informed and prepared.
At its core, the heart of the studio will remain the same: welcoming, supportive, and community-driven. Our goal is not to change what people love about the studio, but to build on it by elevating the overall experience and creating an environment where students of all levels feel inspired, connected, and supported.
Many of these updates are also a direct response to feedback we’ve received from students over time. We’ve listened closely to the requests for a clearer class structure, a more progressive learning experience, and additional instructors with different strengths and styles. This next chapter is about creating an even stronger experience for the community while keeping the culture and connection that make the studio special.
This transition allows us to grow, improve, and create more opportunities for our students. The timing aligns with our long-term vision for the studio.
We’re here for you. Feel free to reach out to us directly – you can call, text or email us. We’re happy to help answer any questions and make this transition as smooth as possible.
